Robert Riva is a partner in Emmet’s real estate finance practice.

Real Estate Finance.

Robert counsels leading banking and financial institutions in bilateral and multiple-lender mortgage and mezzanine financing transactions – including acquisition, construction and term loan financings for multi-family developments, hotels and resorts, office buildings, and distribution centers – as well as master repurchase, loan warehousing and other leveraged financing transactions.

A committed educator and thought leader with three decades of distinguished experience in real estate law and economics, Robert has worked at the National Academy of Sciences and the Regional Economic Studies Institute and is a frequent speaker and instructor on commercial real estate finance matters.
