Mickey’s practice focuses on commercial real estate finance. He has represented commercial banks and other lenders for the origination of mortgage loans, where he conducted due diligence and drafted loan documents. The loans have involved multiple asset types, including multi-family, retail, office, single tenant, and hotels.
After graduating from law school, Mickey was a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas M. Moore in the New Jersey Superior Court, Chancery Division – General Equity, where he worked on commercial litigation matters, including mortgage and tax sale certificate foreclosures, injunctions, breach of contract actions, and shareholder disputes.
While in law school, Mickey interned at the Notre Dame Clinical Law Center’s Community Development Clinic, where he advised and drafted legal documents for small businesses and a nonprofit organization.
