Ms. Hartman has substantial corporate and securities law experience in public and private offerings of securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate actions including rights offers, tender offers, exchange offers and reorganizations. She specializes in working with international U.S. banks and non-U.S. companies in cross-border and capital markets transactions that are registered or exempt from registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Prior to joining Emmet in October of 2021, she was Senior Managing Counsel at The Bank of New York Mellon, primarily supporting its Depositary Receipts business. Prior to joining BNY Mellon in 2015, she was a corporate and securities attorney in private practice with Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler LLP and Greenberg Traurig, both in New York City. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, she was an in-house attorney supporting the General Counsel for the Depositary Receipts business at Citibank.
