Banking and Finance

We represent numerous domestic and foreign banks and other financial institutions in both transactional and general advisory capacities. We act as counsel to lenders in a broad spectrum of syndicated and single lender financing transactions to investment-grade, middle market, governmental and other borrowers.

We represent lenders in extending credit to not-for-profit corporations and institutions such as colleges and universities, private schools, and hospitals. Transactions include direct credit, such as lines of credit and revolving credit and term loan facilities, as well as credit support and liquidity facilities such as direct pay and standby letters of credit and standby bond purchase agreements. Our lawyers understand that the goal of our clients is to close transactions in an efficient and cost-effective manner and we provide practical and business-oriented representation to accomplish this goal. In addition, the depth of experience of our lawyers allows us to offer the kind of prompt and efficient response demanded by time-sensitive transactions.
